TITLE

Recommendation to increase appropriations in the Capital Projects Fund Group in the Public Works Department in the amount of $2,500, offset by the Fourth Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department to install a new street light in the Fourth Council District.

DISCUSSION

Supplemental funding is needed to install a new street light near East Ferro Street and East Cervato Street.

This matter was reviewed by Budget Manager Grace H. Yoon on March 25, 2021.

FISCAL IMPACT

This recommendation provides District Priority Funds to install a new street light in the Fourth Council District. The total appropriation increase of $2,500 in the Capital Projects Fund Group in the Public Works Department will be offset by a transfer of Fourth Council District One-time District Priority Funds from the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department. Implementing this recommendation is expected to have a minimal impact on staff hours beyond normal budgeted scope of duties and is expected to have a minimal impact on existing City Council Priorities.
