TITLE

Recommendation to receive and file the 2005 Parks and Recreation Commission Annual Report.  (Citywide)

DISCUSSION

In accordance with Municipal Code 2.18.090, the 2005 Annual Report for the Parks and Recreation Commission (attached) is presented for City Council review. The Commission President reports that the Commission fulfilled its goals and objectives and was able to serve the citizens of Long Beach effectively as a result of these accomplishments. The report summarizes the actions of the Parks and Recreation Commission during the year 2005.

The Parks and Recreation Commission is proud of the work it accomplished during the past year and appreciates the support provided by the Mayor, City Council, and staff.

City Council action on this item is not critical.

FISCAL IMPACT

None.
