TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Manager to execute the First Amendment to Agreement No. 29890 with Overland, Pacific and Cutler, Inc., a California corporation, for acquisition, relocation, property management and site clearance services to increase the annual contract to an amount not to exceed $500,000. (Citywide)
DISCUSSION
On December 12, 2006, the City Council authorized the execution of Agreement No. 29890 (Agreement) with Overland, Pacific and Cutler, Inc., (OPC) for acquisition, relocation, property management and site clearance services in an amount not to exceed $300,000 per year. Coordinated through the Property Services Bureau in the Department of Community Development, the Agreement provides for acquisition, relocation and property management services on projects for City-owned properties, Tidelands properties and numerous acquisition activities for park expansion and . development. The high volume of activity in these areas necessitates an adjustment to the annual contract amount to insure continued progress on existing projects through the remainder of the term of the contract.
The proposed First Amendment to Agreement No. 29890 would increase the not-toexceed amount to $500,000 per year. All remaining terms and provisions of the Agreement would remain in full force and effect. The Agreement is non-exclusive and allows the City to enter into additional agreements with other firms.
This letter was reviewed by Deputy City Attorney Lori A. Conway on August 20, 2007, and Budget and Performance Management Bureau Manager David Wodynski on August 24,2007.
