TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $2,000, offset by the Fourth Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to provide a contribution to Rancho Los Alamitos Foundation in support of their Summer Concert Series; and
Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $2,000 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.
DISCUSSION
Rancho Los Alamitos Foundation is hosting a Summer Concert Series. This series helps promote and support the Rancho’s educational programs and Long Beach’s cultural preservation. The series is free and open to the public. A contribution to Rancho Los Alamitos Foundation will help offset costs for the series which is being hosted in Council District 4.

FISCAL IMPACT
This recommendation requests the City Manager to provide a contribution to Rancho Los Alamitos Foundation in support of the Summer Concert Series. The total appropriation increase of $2,000 in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department will be offset by a decrease in appropriation of the Fourth Council District One-time District Priority Funds in the General Fund in the Citywide Activities Department. This recommendation is anticipated to require a minimal level of staff time beyond normal budgeted scope of duties and is expected to have minimal impact on existing City Council priorities.
