TITLE

DISCUSSION

The City Council is requested to authorize the City Manager to execute a Second Amendment to the agreement with the law firm of Hurrell & Cantrall, LLP for legal services to defend the City of Long Beach in an employment lawsuit entitled Suzanne C. Gordin v. City of Long Beach, Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 19STCV07941. The amendment would authorize an additional $100,000 for litigation expenses incurred through trial, for a total of $450,000.
