TITLE

DISCUSSION
Councilwoman Suely Saro would like to provide a contribution to support Cambodia Town Film Festival. Long Beach is home to the largest population of Khmer people outside of Cambodia. This festival will educate residents about the Khmer culture and traditions to celebrate just one of the many cultures that make Long Beach the vibrant city it is.

Cambodia Town Film Festival’s (CTFF) purpose is to highlight the diversity of the Cambodian culture through the art of filmmaking. The festival features films that deal with Cambodian social conflicts, traditions, challenges and characters. CTFF also aims to deepen Cambodian values and encourage discussions on a global scale. The festival will also showcase an international selection of narrative features, documentaries, short films, student films, animated films from (not just Cambodia), but from around the world, bringing stories to Cambodia Town, Long Beach, California.

This year is the ninth anniversary of the Cambodia Town Film Festival which will take place over a period of four days from September 24, 2021 to September 26, 2021 at the Art Theatre of Long Beach.
