TITLE
Recommendation to suspend Council rule contained in Long Beach Municipal Code 2.03.020 (B) to cancel the meeting of November 6, 2018.
DISCUSSION
The national Mid-term Election Day is held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Council meetings are generally not held the same day as election days when Long Beach residents are voting. This meeting should be cancelled to honor that practice.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact, other than cost savings from not having a meeting.
