TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriation in the General Fund (GF) in the Legislative Department (LD) by $40,000, offset by the First Council District one-time infrastructure funds transferred from the Capital Projects Fund (CP) in the Public Works Department (PW) to support community sponsorships.
DISCUSSION
In accordance with the City's "Procedures for Implementation of Divide by Nine Funding," the First Council District is requesting that its one-time infrastructure funds be transferred over to its FY 18 operating budget to cover sponsorships for community events. The operating funds have been used to sponsor a variety of community events such as Dia De Los Muertos, Winter in Willmore, SLAM and other various neighborhood organization meetings and community outreach meetings.
FISCAL IMPACT
The total appropriation increase of $40,000 in the General Fund (GF) in the Legislative Department (LO) is offset by a transfer of one-time infrastructure funds from the Capital Projects Fund (CP) in the Public Works Department (PW).
