TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Manager to execute an amendment to the existing agreement with the firm of Jarvis, Fay & Gibson, in the matter entitled Matthew Aquino v City of Long Beach, Case BC587528.

DISCUSSION

The City Council is requested to authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the existing agreement with the firm of Jarvis, Fay & Gibson in a total amount not to exceed $350,000 (including funds already expended), in order that the firm may continue to represent the City's interest in the above-entitled matter.

FISCAL IMPACT

Payment for these services will come from the Insurance Fund.
