TITLE
Recommendation to City Council to concur in the recommendation of the Economic Development and Finance Committee to direct City Attorney to prepare an ordinance adopting the recommendations for fire sprinkler retrofit alternatives for existing commercial and residential high-rise buildings, multi-family, hotels, and motels with 50 or more units under one roof.
DISCUSSION
The Economic Development and Finance Committee, at its meeting held December 16, 2008 considered communications relative to the above subject.
It is the recommendation of the Economic Development and Finance Committee to the City Council to concur in the recommendation of the Committee to direct the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance adopting the recommendations for fire sprinkler retrofit alternatives for existing commercial and residential high-rise buildings, multi-family, hotels, and motels with 50 or more units under one roof.

Approve recommendation.
