TITLE

Recommendation to City Council to concur in recommendation of the State Legislation Committee that City Council discuss and take action on Assembly Bills 130 and 131 regarding the California Dream Act.

DISCUSSION

The State Legislation Committee, at its meeting held Tuesday, May 31, 2011, considered communications relative to the above subject.

It is the recommendation of the State Legislation Committee that the City Council concur in the recommendations of the Committee to discuss and take action on Assembly Bills 130 and 131 regarding the California Dream Act.

Approve recommendation.
