TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay the sum of $11,130 in full settlement of a claim by Avalon Boat and Yacht Sales.

DISCUSSION

This claim arises out of unpaid invoices for boat repair and services incurred by the Long Beach Police Department. After settlement discussions, Claimant agreed to waive all storage charges and accept $11,130.00 as a full, global settlement of this claim. The settlement was approved by the Economic Development and Finance Committee on November 30, 2010.
