TITLE
Recommendation that City Council receive and approve changes to department and commission Conflict of Interest Codes filed, in compliance with State law, as of October 1, 2010.
 
DISCUSSION
The Political Reform Act requires all departments and advisory bodies, commissions, and committees to conduct a review of its Conflict of Interest Codes every other year. If any amendments are necessary, the proposed amendment(s) should be submitted to the City Council no later than October 1, 2010. All of the required departments/commissions have submitted amended Schedules "A" or "B", or have determined that no amendments are necessary.
 
On October 5, 2010, Council directed that the following non-compliant departments and commissions complete their Biennial Code Review and submit code revisions to the City Clerk Department no later that November 15, 2010 for report back to the City Council on December 7, 2010.

With the submittal of this report, the above departments are in compliance. All proposed code revisions have been reviewed by Chief Assistant City Attorney Heather A. Mahood.
