TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay sum of $7,940.67 in full settlement of claim entitled Theresa Delvaux v City of Long Beach, Claim No. C10-0571.

DISCUSSION

Plaintiff was involved in an auto vs. auto accident with a Long Beach Gas Department employee on July 29, 2010.  Plaintiff did not suffer injury but sustained property damage totaling $7,940.67.  Following settlement discussion Plaintiff agreed to accept $7,940.67 as full settlement of this case.   The settlement was approved by the Economic Development and Finance Committee on October 5, 2010.

SUGGESTED ACTION

Approve recommendation.
