TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Manager to execute a first amendment to the agreement with the law firm of Law Offices of Michael M. Peters, in the matter entitled Thomas Lee Goldstein vs. City of Long Beach, et al., Case No. CV 04-9692 AHM (Ex).

DISCUSSION

The City Council is requested to authorize the City Manager to execute a first amendment to the agreement with the law firm of Law Offices of Michael M. Peters for an additional $75,000.00, for a total of $192,651.60, in order that they may continue to represent the City's interest in the above-entitled case.

Approve recommendation.
