Recommendation to receive and file report on travel to the convention of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 22 - 25, 2010.
DISCUSSION
From May 22 to May 25, 2010 I traveled to the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) convention in Las Vegas, Nevada to promote investment in Long Beach. I meet with developers, contractors and bankers (14 different meetings). I promoted the building of restaurants and shopping centers on our many vacant properties citywide.
SUGGESTED ACTION
Approve recommendation.
