TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Stipulations with Requests for Awards for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $73,427.50 for the claim of James Espinosa; $73,200 for the claim of Tamela Gregory-Davis; and $63,600 for the claim of Ollie Washington, in compliance with the Appeals Board Orders.

DISCUSSION
James Espinosa has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on April 6, 2010, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and James Espinosa, based upon a 56 percent disability rating, with a provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.

AND

Tamela Gregory-Davis has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on April 6, 2010, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Tamela Gregory-Davis, based upon a 60 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.

AND

Ollie Washington has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on April 6, 2010, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Ollie Washington, based upon a 54 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
