TITLE

DISCUSSION
The Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association (BKBIA) is a proactive organization of businesses joined together to pool resources for the benefit of the entire district, located in Bixby Knolls and uptown Long Beach. They successfully promote business throughout the area and bring crowds from throughout the city to partake in their “First Fridays” events. This donation will support their continued success.
The Uptown Business Improvement District (UPBID) manages the Uptown Business District and manages its programs. Based in North Long Beach, this organization exists to showcase the ongoing development of the area, as well as help businesses and keep the neighborhood clean. This donation will support efforts to keep the boundaries of the district clean and safe.
Women in Action Reaching Out is a nonprofit organization committed to providing nutrition services and other resources to communities in need throughout Long Beach and surrounding areas. They have partnered with the Carmelitos Housing Project located in North Long Beach and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the South Bay Area to transport meals and provide service to thousands of residents. This donation will support the important work this organization is doing.
