TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Stipulations with Request for Award for approval by the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $92,582.50 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Steven Roberts.

DISCUSSION

Steven Roberts has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Government and Personnel Attorney-Client Committee on November 15, 2022, approved the submission to the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Steven Roberts, based upon a 56 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.

Approve recommendation.
