DISCUSSION
City Council approval is requested to amend Contract No. 35423 with Infor Public Sector Inc., to provide maintenance and software support services for the business license, code enforcement, and land management permitting system.

In 2005, the City Council authorized Agreement No. 29366 with Infor Public Sector, Inc. (formerly known as Hansen Information Technologies, Inc.), for the purchase and implementation of a code enforcement and land management permitting system, including related software, hardware, professional services and system support fees. In 2019, the City Council authorized Agreement No. 35423 with Infor Public Sector Inc., to continue with the maintenance of the land management permitting system, including related software, hardware, professional services and system support fees on a sole source basis. Software maintenance services provided under this agreement include technical support, software patches, and software upgrades. This amendment is being requested to seek additional authority to increase the annual authorized amount during renewal periods.

In the original staff report presented to the City Council on September 17, 2019, annual increases were limited to six percent. The agreement with Infor, however, provides that the annual increase amount would be either six percent or the then-current year-over-year increase in the CPI, whichever is greater.
