DISCUSSION

Community concerts have become a big part of summers in Long Beach. They create a family friendly atmosphere and bring residents out to enjoy our wonderful city parks. This community concert has the added benefit of helping to support the WomenShelter of Long Beach as they provide assistance and safety for Long Beach women in need who are fleeing domestic violence. Therefore, the City of Long Beach should support this community concert.

STATEMENT OF URGENCY:

As this concert is scheduled for August 7, 2022 funding is sought prior to the event.
