DISCUSSION
On October 6, 2009, City Council requested a briefing by U.S. EPA's On Scene Coordinator, Robert Wise, concerning the status of the EPA's investigation into PCB contamination on the property to be acquired by the City of Long Beach in a transaction with LCW Partners, LLC. EPA's OSC, Robert Wise, will provide the presentation and discussion at the Council meeting of November 17, 2009.
 
This matter was reviewed by Deputy City Attorney Linda Trang on October 30, 2009 and by Budget and Performance Management Bureau Manager David Wodynski on November 2,2009.
 
TIMING CONSIDERATIONS
The presentation is scheduled for the November 17, 2009 Council meeting in response to the request.
 
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this recommendation.
