TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay sum of $120,000, in full settlement of lawsuit entitled Executive Residences, LLC v. City of Long Beach, Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. BC688376.
DISCUSSION
Plaintiffs property was seriously damaged as a result of flooding on January 22,2017.
Following extensive negotiations, Plaintiff agrees to accept $120,000.00- inclusive of attorneys' fees and costs - as a full, global settlement of this case.
The settlement was discussed in closed session, and approved, by the Government and Personnel Attorney-Client Committee on November 16, 2021.
