TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Parks, Recreation and Marine Department by $50, offset by the First Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department for the Harvey Milk Flag Raising Event;
Increase appropriation in the General Fund Group in the Public Works Department by $150, offset by the First Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department for the costs associated with the First District Harvey Milk Flag Raising Event; and
Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $200 to offset a transfer to the Parks, Recreation and Marine Department and the Public Works Department.
DISCUSSION
Harvey Milk Day was celebrated with a flag-raising event at Harvey Milk Promenade Park. This event was made possible with the time and effort of our Parks, Recreation, and Marine and Public Works Teams. This is payment for their time.

FISCAL IMPACT
This recommendation provides District Priority Funds to support the Harvey Milk Flag Raising Event in the First District. The appropriation increase of $50 in the General Fund Group in the Parks, Recreation and Marine Department and $150 in the General Fund Group in the Public Works Department, will be offset by a decrease of appropriation of the First Council District One-Time Priority Funds in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department. The recommendation is anticipated to require a minimal level of staff hours beyond the budgeted scope of duties and is expected to have a minimal impact on existing City Council priorities.
