DISCUSSION
City Council approval is requested to increase the existing agreements with Shree Ganesh, Inc., and Yogesh Patel by $50,000 each, to continue providing essential emergency shelter for those experiencing homelessness.

On July 17, 2015, the Department of Health and Human Services (Health Department) released RFP HE15-155 for temporary lodging services to provide temporary emergency shelter for individuals and families currently experiencing homelessness. Two proposals were received, and contracts were awarded to Shree Ganesh, Inc. and Yogesh Patel. The Health Department’s Homeless Services Division received an increase in grant funding that allows the City to provide additional temporary lodging services to people experiencing homelessness. The authorized amounts under the current terms and conditions of the contracts have been exhausted
