TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Manager to execute an agreement with the firm of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo for representation of the City's interest in employment investigations.
DISCUSSION
On January 16, 2019, the City Attorney's office initiated Purchase Order No. BPLW19000003 in the amount of $200,000 with the firm of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo for employment investigations. We are now on the verge of exceeding the amount of the purchase order.
Therefore, the City Attorney's office is requesting City Council authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute an agreement with the firm Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo for an additional $200,000 in order that they may continue to represent the City's interest in employment investigations.
