TITLE

WITHDRAWN

Recommendation to adopt resolution superseding Resolution No. RES-07-0097 to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all master agreements, program supplemental agreements, fund exchange agreements, fund transfer agreements, and any necessary amendments, with the California Department of Transportation and add the City Engineer as a designee.  (Citywide)

DISCUSSION

On July 10, 2007, the City Council authorized the City Manager to execute all California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) agreements.  The adopted Resolution is required by Caltrans to authorize the City to enter into all agreements required by their Local Assistance Procedures to expend state and federal funds.

City Council action is requested to adopt a Resolution, superseding Resolution RES-07-0097, to authorize the City Manager, and add the City Engineer as designee, to execute all Caltrans agreements.

This matter was reviewed by Deputy City Attorney Amy R. Webber on June 3, 2019 and by Budget Analysis Officer Julissa José-Murray May 21, 2019

TIMING CONSIDERATIONS

City Council action is requested on June 18, 2019, to meet Caltrans requirements.
