TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriations in the Capital Projects Fund Group in the Public Works Department by $20,000, offset by the First Council District one-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to support alley improvements in the First District.
DISCUSSION
This Council recommendation requests a funding transfer for the Public Works Department to do alley improvements in the First District. The funds will help cover the cost of repaving the alley located between Locust Ave. and Palmer Court, 14th St. and Anaheim St.
This matter was reviewed by Budget Manager Grace H. Yoon on May 23, 2019.
FISCAL IMPACT
This recommendation provides funds to the Public Works Department to support alley improvements in the First District. The total appropriation increase of $20,000 in the Public Works Department is offset by a transfer of First Council District one-time District Priority Funds from the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department. Completing this work is anticipated to result in a minimal impact to staff hours beyond normal budgeted scope of duties and a minimal impact on Council priorities.
