TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund (GF) in the City Manager Department (CM) by $50,000, offset by the Sixth Council District one-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to support the 2019 Martin Luther King Junior Celebration; and
Decrease appropriations in the General Fund (GF) in the Citywide Activities Department (XC) by $50,000 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.
DISCUSSION
In accordance with the City's "Procedures for Implementation of Divide by Nine Funding," the Sixth Council District is requesting that its one-time District Priority funds be transferred to the Special Events Office in the City Manager Department to cover expenses for the 2019 Martin Luther King Junior Celebration event.
FISCAL IMPACT
The total appropriation increase of $50,000 in the General Fund (GF) in the City Manager Department (CM) is offset by a decrease of appropriation of one-time District Priority Funds in the General Fund (GF) in the Citywide Activities Department (XC).
