DISCUSSION
Council District 5 is co-host to HOLIDAYLIGHT The Nite, a holiday themed community festival held on Friday, December 14 from 6:00-9:00 PM that encourages neighbors and residents to Shop Small this holiday season. This event takes place off Norse Way between Carson Street and Lakewood Blvd and provides the public with the opportunity to shop at our local businesses and see the new street and lighting improvements recently completed in the area as part of the pilot Business Corridor Improvement Program. Other features of the event include pictures with Santa, family friendly games and resource booths, and live music performances throughout the evening.

It is anticipated that 1,000 visitors will come to the area and that additional parking will be needed to supplement free and available street parking to mitigate any parking impacts to the surrounding neighborhoods. In a collaborative effort with the District 5 Office to support the festival, The Boeing Company is willing to provide parking free of charge within its visitor and employee parking lot located at 4020 N Lakewood Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90808.

To this end, negotiations between the parties have resulted in a proposed License Agreement containing the following major terms and conditions:

• Licensor: The Boeing Company, a Delaware corporation.

• Licensee: City of Long Beach, a municipal corporation.

• Licensed Premises: The non-exclusive use of the parking lot located at 4020 N Lakewood Blvd.

• Term: The term of the agreement shall commence on December 14, 2018 and terminate on December 15, 2018.

• License Fee: The use of the Licensed Premises...
