TITLE

2) separate authority to pay $6,090, and 3) separate authority to pay $2,610 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Ali Assef.

DISCUSSION

Ali Assef has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Economic Development and Finance Committee on September 18, 2018, approved the submission to the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Ali Assef, based upon 1) a 42 percent disability rating with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary, 2) a 7 percent disability rating with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary, and 3) a 3 percent disability rating with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary

SUGGESTED ACTION

Approve recommendation.
