TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit three Stipulations with Request for Award for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay 1) $4,140, 2) separate authority to pay $48,140, and 3) separate authority to pay $12,252.50 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Stanley Fields.

DISCUSSION

Stanley Fields has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on August 21, 2018, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Stanley Fields, based upon 1) a 6 percent disability rating with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary, 2) a 35 percent disability rating with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary, and 3) a 13 percent disability rating with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
