Recommendation to respectfully request that City Council discuss in closed session the progress of the Real Estate Exchange agreement involving the 12.1 acres of City-owned land for surface rights to approximately 33.77 acres of privately owned wetlands before authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement.
DISCUSSION
Background:
On February 10, 2009, the City Council authorized the City Manager to Execute a Real Estate Exchange Agreement, providing overall terms and conditions of an exchange of approximately 12.1 acres of City-owned land for surface rights to approximately 33.77 acres of privately owned wetlands.
Due to recent developments involved in this real property transfer I am respectfully requesting the City Council discuss the matter in closed session prior to the final terms of the agreement are executed by the City Manager.
