Recommendation to receive and file the application of Cantina Restaurant Ventures, LLC, dba Taco Bell Store #146, for an original application of an Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) License, at 3125 East Broadway, and submit a Public Notice of Protest to ABC, on the bases of over concentration, residences within 100 feet, a school within 600 feet and calls for service in the reporting district. DISCUSSION
It is City Council policy to review applications for ABC licenses to determine if a basis for protest against the issuance of the license exists. The attached application lists the possible bases for protest.

It is City Council policy to review applications for ABC licenses to determine if a basis for protest against the issuance of the license exists. The Police Department recommends that the City Council submit a Public Notice of Protest due to concerns related to the total number of ABC licenses, residences within 100 feet, a school within 600 feet, and high volume of calls for service at the establishment.

There is no fiscal impact associated with this recommendation.
