No. WD-1382, a resolution of the City of Long Beach Board of Water Commissioners establishing the rates and charges to be charged for water and sewer service; declaring the urgency thereof; and providing that this ordinance shall take effect at 12:01 A.M. on January 1, 2018 read the first time and laid over to the next regular meeting of the City Council for final reading. DISCUSSION
On November 16, 2017, the Board of Water Commissioners approved Rate Resolution No. WD-1382 incorporating an updated rate structure for water and sewer services, reflecting a reduction in rates as contemplated by that certain Settlement Agreement dated as of November 8, 2017 executed by and between the parties to Lejins v. City of Long Beach (BS 165724).

There is no fiscal impact associated with this recommendation.
