TITLE
Recommendation to suspend Council rule contained in Long Beach Municipal Code 2.03.020 (B) to cancel the meeting of January 2, 2018 in honor of the New Year holiday, and add an additional meeting on January 30, 2018.
DISCUSSION
With the multiple holidays at the end of the year, council meetings are typically not held the first week of the new year. Due to many resident and staff travel plans, council should not be held the day after New Year's Day. To offset the loss of a meeting, an additional meeting will be added on January 30, 2018.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact.
