TITLE
Recommendation to rescind the City Council action taken on
October 21, 2008 to approve a One-Year Short-Term Entertainment Permit with conditions to Lucky Luke, Inc., dba The Copacabana, at 2688 South Street; and
Adopt a motion to approve a Permit with conditions for Entertainment With Dancing by Patrons at a restaurant to Lucky Luke, Inc., dba The Copacabana, at 2688 South Street. (District 8)
DISCUSSION
On October 21, 2008, the City Council conducted a hearing to receive supporting documentation into the record in order to grant a permit for entertainment with dancing to Lucky Luke Inc., dba the CopaCabana restaurant located at 2688 South Street. At the conclusion of the hearing, a motion was unintentionally made to approve the recommendation and grant a one-year short-term permit with conditions, as opposed to the intended long-term permit with conditions.
I would like to request the Council to correct this action by rescinding the action taken on October 21, 2008, and approve the permit with conditions for entertainment with dancing.
