Citizen Police Complaint Commission Appointments
Christian Cooper (CD 3)- First Term through June 2019 Christian Cooper is a public interest attorney and has his own law practice devoted to
serving our community. He received his law degree from Loyola Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Southern California. He is Controller of the Long Beach Lambda Democratic Club and is on the Board of Governors for the Long Beach Bar Association.
Desmond Fletcher (CD 8) - First Term through June 2019
Desmond Fletcher has been a Long Beach resident for over twenty years and is active in many groups throughout the community. He is a founding member of the new Country Club neighborhood association, where he has made great strides to bring information and events to the neighborhood. Desmond currently serves on the Human Relations Commission and is excited about the opportunity to transfer to the Citizen Police Complaint Commission.
