TITLE
Recommendation to receive and file a presentation by Green Education, Inc. regarding local community efforts to comply with Green House Gas reduction goals.
DISCUSSION
The state of California is an international leader when it comes to Green House Gas (GHG) reduction and the City of Long Beach has long been a leader in creating meaningful policies in support of protecting the environment. Additionally, it is also important to stay up to date with programs and opportunities in the community to help meet all of the GHG reduction goals the state has put in place.
