New Appointment

Rianne Howard

 

Born and raised in Long Beach, Rianne has participated in various civic engagement projects, including work for Food Finders, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to build benches for parks, and developing a community garden at Orizaba Park. During her time at Woodrow Wilson High School, Rianne remained active as the Vice President of the Female Leadership Academy, a member of the Young Black Scholars program, and a competitive swimmer. She is currently a student at CSU Long Beach.

 

New Appointment

Leonard Adams, Jr.

Leonard worked for the City of Long Beach for forty years, and he would like to stay civically engaged by serving as a Commissioner. He is dedicated to understanding how the Long Beach Police operates and how he can bring the community together. In his last position with the City, as a Homeless Veterans Outreach Worker, Leonard assisted the Police in their efforts to find and provide services for homeless clients.
