Recommendation to receive and file report on travel to Davis, California to participate in a forum on energy efficiency, October 14, 2008.
DISCUSSION
On October 14, 2008, I traveled to Davis to participate in a forum on the roots of energy efficiency at the University of California at Davis.
I was invited to speak on my experience with statewide energy legislation, as well as discuss the alternative energy initiatives being undertaken by the city of Long Beach, in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint.
