TITLE
Recommendation to continue the public hearing for the vacation of a portion of Edison Avenue in the vicinity of the Pacific Harbor Line rail right-of-way south of Ninth Street to December 2, 2008. (District 1)
DISCUSSION
On October 14, 2008, the City Council adopted Resolution No. RES-08-0132, declaring its intention to vacate the subject right-of-way, and set November 18, 2008 as the date for the public hearing. In order to provide the time needed to complete the legal notices required by state law, this action must be continued to December 2, 2008.
This matter was reviewed by Deputy City Attorney Linda Trang on November 5, 2008.
TIMING CONSIDERATIONS
The date of this public hearing was set by City Council action.
FISCAL IMPACT
A vacation processing fee of $1,350 was deposited to the General Fund (GP) in the Department of Public Works (PW).

Approve recommendation.
