TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund (GF) in the Legislative Department (LD) by $28,283 for Council District Five to reflect carryover funds from Fiscal Year 2015 for the purpose of community and neighborhood events, meetings and outreach.
DISCUSSION
In accordance with the City's new "Procedures for Implementation of Divide by Nine Funding", Council District Five is respectfully requesting that its office's cost savings of $28,283 from Fiscal Year 2015 be carried-over to its current fiscal year office budget.
The amount specified will be utilized for community and neighborhood events, meetings and/or outreach in compliance with the provisions in the City Charter and Long Beach Municipal Code and for an established public purpose.

The amount of $28,283 directed to the Council District Five office budget.
