TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund (GF) in the Legislative Department (LD) by $40,793, for Council District 7 carry-over funds from FY 2015. These funds will be used for community and neighborhood events, meetings and outreach.
DISCUSSION
For fiscal year 2014-2015, Council District Seven had an office budget cost savings of $40,793.00. This comes as a result of cost savings and a prudent approach to the 2014- 2015 office budget.
In past years, the process for a carry-over budget for council offices was to direct the cost savings back to departments and specific bureaus for community and neighborhood meetings and events. This year, the Seventh District is providing a council letter at the request of the City Manager's Office for the 2014-2015 fiscal year carry-over funds.

The amount of $40,793 directed to the District Seven Office budget.
