TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Compromise and Release Agreement for approval by the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $120,000 less permanent disability in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Glen Peterson.

DISCUSSION

Glen Peterson has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Economic Development and Finance Committee on December 15, 2015, approved the submission to the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board of Compromise and Release Agreement in the amount of $120,000.00 less permanent disability by the City and Glen Peterson.

Approve recommendation.
