TITLE

DISCUSSION
John Kirby has made claims for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Economic Development and Finance Committee on September 2, 2008, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of three Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and John Kirby, based upon 1) a 40 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary, and 2) a 6 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary, and 3) a 4 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
 
Robert Luman has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Economic Development and Finance Committee on September 2, 2008, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Robert Luman, based upon a 65 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
