TITLE

Recommendation to receive and file the application of Shannon’s on Pine, Incorporated, dba Shannon’s on Pine, for a premise-to-premise transfer of an Alcoholic Beverage Control License, at 201 Pine Avenue.  (District 2)

DISCUSSION

The business owner purchased the entire building at 209 Pine Avenue and changed the address to 201 Pine Avenue. It is City Council policy to review applications for Alcoholic Beverage Control licenses to determine if a basis for protest against the issuance of the license exists.  The attached application lists the possible basis for protest.

TIMING CONSIDERATIONS

City Council response is due to the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control by August 28, 2015.  Accordingly, City Council action is required at the August 18, 2015 City Council meeting.

FISCAL IMPACT

None.

SUGGESTED ACTION

Approve recommendation.
