TITLE
Recommendation to receive and file a presentation and proclamation in honor of Corporal Robert Schroeder and his 50 years of service in the Long Beach Police Department.
DISCUSSION
Corporal Robert Schroeder has served with valor, integrity and commitment in the Long Beach Police Department since 1965 - a total of 50 years. For 33 of those years, he was a member of the K9 patrol. Recently, he chose to transfer to the traffic department. Corporal Schroeder has mentored an entire generation of Long Beach Police Officers. With his dedicated services, he has won the respect, admiration and friendship of his colleagues and superiors. His devotion to the City of Long Beach and the safety of its residents is exemplary. The Council will recognize and honor his half century of public service with a proclamation.
