TITLE

DISCUSSION

Ronald Alston has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on January 15, 2008 approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of 1) a Compromise & Release in the amount of $47,732.00, and 2) a $10,0000 buy-out of vocational rehabilitation benefits by the City and Ronald Alston.

Approve recommendation.
