DISCUSSION
The City Council is requested to authorize the City Manager to execute a Tenth Amendment to Contract No. 28728 with the law firm of M. Brian McMahon to increase the total amount of the contract by an additional $150,000. He has been authorized to represent the City in the above-captioned litigation cases. The increase in the contract is necessary in order that the legal interests of the City in this complex litigation are properly served in both matters. There is no fiscal impact to the General Fund in regard to this matter. The matter is charged to the Tidelands Oil Revenue Fund against State revenues.
